Our Services

Every clinical service we provide is shaped by what we know cancer treatment
does to the mouth.

Survivor Smiles offers a focused range of services built around one population: cancer patients and survivors. We provide specialized care for those whose teeth and jaws have been affected by chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, transplant, or long-term cancer medications.

Dental Oncology

Dental care designed specifically for cancer patients and survivors, integrated with your oncology team. We handle pre-treatment clearance and long-term maintenance.

Post-Cancer Dental Care

Managing oral complications after treatment ends, including xerostomia, radiation-damaged teeth, and bone issues like MRONJ.

Reconstruction & Implants

Advanced implants and full-mouth reconstruction for survivors whose teeth or jaws need rebuilding after cancer damage.

Conditions We Treat

Specialized management for osteonecrosis (ORN, MRONJ), trismus, xerostomia, and chronic orofacial pain.

When to See a Dental Oncologist

If any of the following apply to you, a specialized consultation is highly recommended to protect your oral health.

Had radiation to the head, neck, or jaw

Treated with bisphosphonates (Zometa, Prolia, etc.)

Undergone bone marrow or stem cell transplant

Need dental clearance before starting therapy

Told implants are "not possible" due to history

Coordinating With Your Oncology Team

A dental oncologist is most effective when they work as part of your broader cancer care team. We routinely coordinate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and surgeons to share imaging and treatment summaries.

Radiation Oncologists

Sedation Dentistry

We offer multiple levels of sedation appropriate for medically complex patients, anxious survivors, and longer reconstructive procedures. Your safety and comfort are our priority.
