Meet Dr. Ryan S. Lee

Dr. Ryan Lee is one of a small number of clinicians in the United States who practice dental oncology as a primary specialty. Trained at NYU, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and Northwestern, he specializes in the complex dental needs of cancer patients.

The Philosophy
"Dental oncology should look more like
medicine than like routine dentistry."

A Specialty Built
on Conviction.

Most dentists, even highly skilled ones, complete their training without ever working inside a comprehensive cancer center. Dr. Lee’s path was different.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry and then trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he worked alongside head and neck surgical oncologists and radiation specialists.

His career has been shaped by a single conviction: that cancer patients and survivors deserve dental care from someone who genuinely understands what cancer treatment does to the mouth and jaw.

Training That Built a Specialty

His advanced training continued at Northwestern University, where his clinical work in implant dentistry and rehabilitation took shape.

MSKCC Residency

Intensive training at Memorial Sloan Kettering, caring for complex cancer cases alongside world-class oncology teams.

Military Service

Served in the United States Army Reserve, coordinating vital medical testing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Harvard Appointments

Held appointments at Harvard / Cambridge Health Alliance, furthering his commitment to academic medicine and patient care.

Stellar Business Award

Recognized as the Best Dental Medical practice in the United States for his specialized approach to oncology.

What Patients Can Expect

We build in the time needed to listen, examine, and explain, ensuring you never feel like just another appointment.

A dental oncologist leads every case.

Dr. Ryan Lee is a Northwestern-trained, MSKCC-experienced dental oncologist whose work has been featured by the American Dental Association, Cancer Today, Becker's, and Northwestern Magazine.

Medical-dental integration.

We do not work in isolation. We talk directly with your oncology team, share imaging when needed, and time procedures around your medical care. Survivors should never have to play messenger between specialists.

Financial support designed for survivors.

Cancer is expensive. We offer a 40 percent discount for cancer survivors and help coordinate medical and dental insurance benefits so out-of-pocket costs are typically capped near 60 percent of standard fees.

National practice, four offices.

We see patients at locations in New York, NY, Plainville, MA, Riverside, RI, and Redding, CT, and welcome traveling patients from anywhere in the country.
